Coastal Digital Assets LLC ("CDA") wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use coastaldigitalassets.com, request a Local Lead Leak Check and buy our digital products.
Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. We treat this as an ongoing commitment, not a one-time project.
What we've done
- A "Skip to content" link, a single main landmark, and a logical heading structure on every page.
- Visible keyboard focus on links, buttons and form fields, and a site that can be used with a keyboard alone.
- Text and interactive elements checked against WCAG contrast ratios (4.5:1 for body text).
- Labels on every form field, required fields marked, and browser validation messages for errors.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- A visible Pause motion button on the home page that stops the animated background, moving graphics and scrolling banner. Your choice is remembered on that browser. If your device is set to reduce motion, animations are turned off automatically.
- Pages that reflow to a phone screen without sideways scrolling and that support browser zoom up to 200%.
- Automated testing with axe-core plus manual keyboard checks on desktop and mobile widths.
Known limitations
- The 3D coastline animation behind the home page headline is decorative only. It contains no information and is hidden from assistive technology. It can be paused, and it does not load when reduced motion is on.
- Digital products are sold and delivered through Gumroad, a third-party platform. Its checkout pages and the downloadable files (spreadsheets and PDFs) are outside this site; if a file isn't accessible for you, email us and we'll provide an accessible alternative.
- Links to our social profiles (LinkedIn, X and others) open third-party sites whose accessibility we don't control.

Technical details
This site relies on HTML, CSS and JavaScript and is tested in current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, including mobile Safari and Chrome on Android. The core content and forms work with JavaScript turned off.
